The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) is the successor to the P20 Lite that was launched in 2018. Do note that the P20 Lite (2019) still sits below the P30 Lite that was launched in early 2019.

Display

The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a 5.84-inch IPS LCD with LTPS technology and Full HD+ resolution.

The display has a punch-hole for the front-facing camera and thin bezels around it. There is, however, no Gorilla Glass protection over the display.

Camera

The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a 24MP + 2MP dual-camera at the back.

The 24MP sensor is the primary camera, and the 2MP camera is a depth-sensor. The front-facing camera is a 24MP unit as well. Cameras on either side can record Full HD videos.

Processor, RAM, Storage, Software

The P20 Lite (2019) brings a significant upgrade over its predecessor in terms of processing power; the device uses the Kirin 710 SoC, which has four Cortex-A73 cores, four Cortex-A53 cores, and Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.

The smartphone comes in two configurations 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.

This particular variant is the one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The P20 Lite (2019) runs on Android 9 Pie operating system, and it features EMUI 9 user interface customization.

Battery, Connectivity, and Other Features

The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has the same battery capacity as its predecessor a 3000mAh unit. It supports 18W fast charging.

In terms of connectivity, the P20 Lite (2019) has a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and dual-SIM with dual-4G and dual-VoLTE.

The device comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and glass back panel with a gradient color pattern.
